Disclaimer: The power rangers are not mine. Although I wish they were sadly they are not. You know that makes me just want to cry.

Authors Note: Hey people well this series is still going strong and we hope you enjoy the third part. This part is pretty bad in that it has A LOT of torture in it but this is going to be the worse part. It will get better in the next part. Because I can't write another part like this it will drive me nuts and my Tommy muse nuts so we are going to go light on Tommy in the next part hopefully. Anyway enjoy part 3.

Special Thanks: Again thank you Star for all of her hard work she has done on this series and all of her creative ideas. This story would not be the same without her. Thank you Star and get ready for part 4.

Tommy was thrown out of the clutches of darkness that had cradled him for so long and into the realm of consciousness. The first thing that came to his awareness was the pain that shot through his body like a freight train. He softly moaned and slowly began to open his heavy eyelids. As Tommy's eyes adjusted to the harsh light he stiffened when he saw Josh sitting in a brown chair beside him smiling devilishly. "What no smart ass words Tommy boy?"

Tommy glared at Josh as he replied in a strained voice "You're crazy."

He felt his arms ache from the strain he was put though as Josh smirked and lit up a cigarette. "Why must you always say that about me? I'm not crazy I just know how to raise children right, the same way my parents raised me with an iron fist. No, I'm not crazy Tommy. I'm the best thing that ever happened to you."

Tommy rolled his eyes "Yeah right." Tommy spoke as his eyes landed on Josh once more and he saw cruelty gleam in his dark blue eyes that sent shivers of terror into his system.

Josh leaned up slowly never losing contact with Tommy's eyes, took his cigarette out of his mouth, and squashed it on Tommy's stomach. Tommy squirmed and let out a strangled scream as the cigarette burned his stomach. Once the cigarette was out Josh stood and walked over to the dresser and retrieved up a box of matches from it. "Tommy boy I am getting really sick and tired of that little attitude you have had ever since I got you here. I guess I am going to have to burn it into your mind not to be a smart ass."

Tommy's eyes grew wide with terror as Josh turned back to him with the box of matches. He jerked at the chains feverishly but to no avail, he was trapped. Josh wondered back over to Tommy slowly and lit one of the matches as he went. Smiling sadistically he flung it on to Tommy's stomach. Tommy screamed as the flame burned a part missed by the candle the previous night. "You see Tommy boy I didn't even feel that." Josh spoke as he flung anther match on Tommy causing him to scream out once more.

"You're nuts! Stop it!" Tommy exclaimed as Josh smirked and flung another one that one landed on Tommy's cheek. Tommy let out a scream full of agony as the match fell down his cheek and made a burn line down his neck. "Please stop!"

Josh stopped for a moment and slowly leaned over until he was in Tommy's face "You will never be anything Tommy boy! You are nothing but a good for nothing shit! Your mother was right! You are nothing and you will grow up to be nothing!" Josh taunted him with reverted effort and the harsh tone of his voice carted terror into Tommy's heart.

Josh stood and lit another match and flung it on Tommy's forehead. Tommy began to sob as the match made a line down his face. "Please Josh.....stop." Came the weak and pain filled plea of his victim as Josh ignored the plea and tugged at Tommy's waistband "I wonder how it would fill to be burned below the belt!"

"NOOO!!! Josh please! Don't do it! Stop!" Tommy screamed as his eyes widened in fear at the thought. He felt himself hyperventilate as blood rushed through him in waves and he felt himself struggle meekly in submission.

Josh smiled devilishly up at him as he began to unbutton and unzip his pants. Tommy wiggled to get free of the hands that were yanking his pants down cruelly but Josh wouldn't let that happen as he yanked them harder "NO!!" Tommy screamed out one more time as Josh finished pulling his pants down and lit a match.

Kim sat on Tommy's bed as the tears came from her eyes freely. The funeral for Carol that afternoon was nice but it wasn't right with out Tommy there. Kimberly sighed as she got up from her perch on the bed and wondered over to Tommy's computer desk. Some guests were still down stairs wishing John the best but Kim was not in a talkative or company mood. She sighed as she headed over to Tommy's closet and opened it and smiled at the mess that met her. 'Tommy how do you ever get dressed?' She thought and then stiffened sadly. She was about to close the door when out of the corner of her eye she spotted a small gray box half way hidden under some shirts on the top self. She knew that she shouldn't be nosey and should probably just leave it alone, but something made her pull the gray box down off the self.

She made her way back to the bed and slowly sat down on it as she examined the box. It was a medium sized gay box with no designs on it and it had T.J.E burned into the top of it. She carefully opened it and smiled as she saw a picture of Tommy and his biological mother Lindsey. She shifted through the various pictures laughing at some and crying at others. There were letters to his mom and other people who she didn't know also which she sifted through until she got to the bottom of the box. What met her eyes there made her catch her breath. It was her handkerchief from so long ago when she had put it over his cut on the swing sat. 'He kept it.' She thought as she took the handkerchief out of the box and hugged it close to her. Despair that her soul was out there somewhere alone probably in pain caused immense grief in her heart. Her frame began to shake as the tears began to fall she fell back on the bed, letting the box crash to floor.

Tommy couldn't move as Josh pulled back up his pants after lighting the last match. He moaned as he zipped them up and snickered, leaned down, and whispered evilly, "That was fun."

Tommy jerked at the chains and moaned as Josh rubbed Tommy between the legs. Josh smirked then quickly sobered and grabbed his keys of the dresser. "I am going out. I'll be back. Don't go anywhere Tommy boy." He spoke smartly as he left slamming the door behind him.

Tommy started to wiggle and jerk at the chains but this only succeeded in causing him more pain. "I hate you!! Oh god I hate you!! You ass hole!" He desperately called out as he began to sob uncontrollably. The feeling of being cheap and used trailed into him How could Kim every want me now? He thought tiredly as he let his mind float back to when he had first met Josh and how his life was never the same afterwards... (Flash)

Tommy was sitting on the stairs of his two-story house looking at the tall man that had just walked in and hugged his mom he didn't like him already, as his mom's face lit up when he kissed her on the cheek. She turned to him on the stairs and spoke happiness lacing her voice "Tommy, this is Josh Erickson a close friend of mine from school. He's going to be your new father."

Tommy looked Josh up and down and then away as he stepped forward "Hey their Tommy boy."

Tommy glared at Josh as he growled, "Don't call me that!"

Josh put up his hands in a defense gesture "Ok didn't know that got to you. Sorry kid."

Tommy glared at Josh once more as he ran into the living room, plopped down, and started playing video games shutting out the pair that were watching him from the doorway. Lindsey sighed as she turned to Josh and spoke apologetically "Give him some time Josh. It isn't easy, he just needs time."

Josh smiled and hugged Lindsey tight as he said, "We'll be fine. Just fine." Lindsey hugged Josh back and didn't see the glare that Josh gave the oblivious Tommy. (Flash)

Tommy sighed as he lost another game of Mario Brothers on his super Nintendo and slowly looked back at Josh and his mother sitting on the couch doing wedding stuff. His eyes narrowed when he saw Josh tickle his mom and his mom laugh and as Josh leaned in for a kiss Tommy got off the floor and stomped out of the room into the kitchen. He didn't like Josh there was something about him that frightened him to his very core. He sighed as he poured himself a glass of milk and walked back into the living room. He plopped back on the floor as he saw his mom put the phone down and sigh, as she looked at Josh. "They want me to come into work for a while. I have to go."

"Why don't you go and I'll watch Tommy?" Josh offered with a smile.

Tommy cringed as his mom smiled "Really?"

Josh smiled as he shook his head and Lindsey spook while jumping off the couch "Ok. Tommy is in advanced pre school so he has some homework to do if you can ever pry him away from his super Nintendo and. I will be back in about two hours."

Josh smiled, "I'll take care of it. Now go."

Lindsey gave Josh a quick peak on the cheek and turned to the getting back to his game Tommy. "Be good and don't give Josh any problems."

"Yes mommy." Tommy replied meekly as he pressed play.

Lindsey grabbed her purse by the door and went out it. As the door shut Tommy felt like it was sealing his fate as well. Josh smiled at Tommy when Lindsey was gone "Well it looks like it is just you and me now Tommy boy."

"Don't call me that!" Tommy yelled as he pressed the buttons on his controller.

Josh smirked as he closed a wedding book "What are going to do about it?"

Tommy stuck out his tongue at Josh and got back to his video game ignoring him as he spoke "Tommy boy turn off the Nintendo and go do your homework, now."

Tommy kept on playing as Josh got off the couch and yanked Tommy off the ground causing him to drop the controller "Listen you little brat I am going to be your father soon so you better learn to do as I say and respect me!"

Tommy glared at Josh as he yanked his arm away from him "You are and never will be my father!"

Josh's eyes filled with rage as he smacked Tommy hard causing Tommy to fly to the ground. Tommy held his cheek as he glared at Josh and stood as he yelled, "You just wait to mommy gets home! You are going to be so sorry you ever hit me!"

"Oh no you don't you little brat you are not going to tell any one about this!" Josh screamed as he advanced on the small Tommy as Tommy exclaimed, "Want a bet! They taught me in school that this isn't right!"

Josh sneered as she spoke "School you are to stupid for school! You are just a stupid little boy!"

"I'm not stupid you are! And you just wait! My mommy is going to kick you out so fast that is will make your head spin!" Tommy stated fire in his eyes aimed at Josh.

"Oh no you don't! You are not going to ruin my life with Lindsey you little brat!" Josh yelled as he grabbed Tommy by the arm with one hand and started smacking him with the other.

Tommy tried to hit Josh and get away but all this got him was a tighter strong hold on his arm and harder hits. "What you going to do about it huh?" Josh provoked as he threw Tommy down on the couch and took off his belt. Smiling as Tommy's terrified face he began to beat Tommy mercilessly with the belt.

"MOMMY!!" Came the sob from Tommy, as he took hit after hit. "Mommies little brat! I am going to teach you to respect me you stupid shrimp!" Josh exclaimed as he kicked Tommy hard when he fail from the couch.

Lindsey smiling walked in the front door of her house out of the brisk cool winter air as she yelled, "I'm home!"

She sat her purse down by the door and entered the living room to see Tommy sitting in a chair stiffly doing his homework. Josh who was sitting on the couch reading jumped up as she entered "Hey sweetie." He spoke and peeked Lindsey on the cheek.

Lindsey smiled and pointed to Tommy as she asked, "How was he?"

Josh smiled down at her as he said smugly "Tommy was fine no trouble at all."

Lindsey smiled more at the news "Good."

Josh gave Tommy a warning glare that made Tommy wiggle in his seat more as Lindsey took her coat off and through it on the back of the couch. Lindsey walked Josh out the door where they shared a rousing kiss goodnight and then walked back to her son. "How are you?"

"Fine." Tommy muttered as he wrote down another letter of the alphabet on his sheet of notebook paper.

Lindsey looked at her son in concern usually Tommy was jumping up and down with energy to tell her what happened. "What's wrong baby?"

"Nothing." Tommy said coldly as Lindsey touched his arm. Tommy yelped and tried to quickly draw is arm away from her. Lindsey caught it however before he and rolled up his sleeve to see a dark bruise outlined on his upper arm "Tommy how did you get this?" Lindsey demanded as she met his eyes.

"I fell." Tommy said meekly as he remembered the beating and the glare Josh had just given him.

"Where did you fall?" Lindsey asked unbelievingly as Tommy looked away from her and muttered "At school."

Lindsey sighed as she shook her head "Tommy how many times do I have to tell you that you are to little for the monkey bars?"

Tommy slid down in his seat as squeaked out "I'm sorry mommy."

Lindsey smiled at the meek Tommy sighed as she spoke "Ok it's time for bed."

Tommy smiled broadly as he gladly closed his books and followed his mom up the stairs. (Flash)

Tommy sighed as he turned his head from the ceiling and a tear streaked down his face. He missed Lindsey, he missed the way she would rub his head and hold him while he was crying. He had shut out every memory that he had of his mother when he was sent to live with the Oliver's but now he missed her more then ever. 'I wonder how she's doing? Does she ever think of me at all?' Were the thoughts flowing through his mind as he fell into a light sleep.

The bright California sun shone into the face of Lindsey Erickson as she slept. "GOOD MORNING LA!!" Came the booming voice of the radio announcer as Lindsey slowly opened her eyes and slapped the sleep button on her radio hard. She slowly sat up and sighed as she looked at her night stand where sat a picture of her little boy and her ex husband. She shivered as she thought of Josh Erickson and picked up the picture and traced the little boy's face. 'I'm sorry Tommy. I should I have left him a long time before they took you away from me but I was so damn scared. I lost you because of it but I will find you someday. I just hope you still love me like I love you.' Lindsey though as a tear escaped her eye when she remembered the day she had lost him. (Flash)

Lindsey sat in the living room with her husband by her side as she waited on a call from the hospital with news on how her son was doing. They had not been allowed anywhere near Tommy at the hospital and had bee asked to leave as soon as they got there. She sighed heavily as she looked at Josh who was watching football and sipping beer. "Josh do you think that Tommy is ok?"

"Lindsey you worry to much about Tommy boy he'll be alright. He need's to learn how to get tough like me." Josh said while not taking his eyes off the television screen.

Lindsey sighed and turned her eyes back to the phone as she did the doorbell rang. Smiling as she remembered many times past when some friends had brought Tommy home from the hospital, she quickly got off the couch headed for the front door as Josh spoke "See that's probably Tommy boy right now. I didn't hurt him that bad now did I?"

Lindsey ignored him as she reached the door Josh right behind her. She answered it happily expecting to see Tommy standing there but instead there were two men and a woman standing there in black suits. Lindsey's eyes filled with confusion as one of them spoke "Mr. and Mrs. Erickson?"

Lindsey slowly shook her head as Josh stated, "What is this? Who are you?"

The woman spoke sternly with no emotion what so ever on her face "Mr. Erickson we are with the social services department of California and we are here to pick up Tommy Erickson's things. He will no longer be living with you after he gets out of the hospital and will be place in a suitable foster home."

Lindsey covered her mouth as her leg's got weak and she softly said "What?"

The woman spoke once more still showing no emotion, "I am sorry Mrs. Erickson but we do not think that this is a good environment for a child."

Lindsey closed her eyes as the tears stung at the corners off them. The men and woman pushed past Josh and into the house. "Where is Tommy's room?" The woman asked sternly to Lindsey.

Lindsey slowly opened her eyes and pointed up the stairs shakily. The three shook there heads and stomped up the stairs. Josh looked as though he just seen a ghost and sighed as he tried to comfort the distraught Lindsey, however she pushed him away roughly as she growled, "Don't touch me! You monster! This is all your fault!"

She slowly sat down on the stairs as the tears came freely down her face and Josh stood there lost for words or actions. All to soon the three agents came back down the stairs each having two bags in their hands. Lindsey meekly looked up at the woman as she stood weekly from the stairs "When will I get my baby back?"

The woman sighed as she looked at Lindsey like she was a lowly piece of trash and said snobbishly "Not for a while he has already been placed with the Oliver's and it doesn't look like you are going to see Tommy for a long while."

Lindsey chocked back a sob as she asked, "How's my baby? How's Tommy?"

The woman looked down and then back up with horror in her eyes as she replied "He's in intensive care and not doing so good. He was beaten severely Mrs. Erickson."

"Oh god." Lindsey squeaked out and slowly sunk back down to the stairs as the woman hurriedly said, "I'm sorry Ms. Erickson." Then quickly exited the house closing the door behind her.

Lindsey covered her face as she began to sob hard and felt Josh's arms go around her. She pushed him away from her violently "You! You stay away from me Josh! I mean it! Don't touch me! STAY AWAY FORM ME! YOU ASS HOLE!" She screamed as she got up off the stair she was sitting on angrily and ran up them not looking back at Josh once. When she was up them she made her way to her bedroom down the dark hall. Once there she slammed and locked the door behind her and fell on her bed. She sobbed hard for her hurt lost baby that she couldn't help or see when he needed her the most. (Flash)

Lindsey put the picture back on the nightstand and wiped away the tears and switched on the television to try and get her mind off of Tommy. She looked at it blankly her mind still on Tommy "In other news today local boy Thomas Oliver is still missing. It has been two weeks and still Angel Grove investigators have no leads. Tommy Oliver was last seen going into his house at 5:15 pm on Thursday October 12th. Carol Oliver passed away at Angel Grove Medical Center late Tuesday night from the severe beating she obtained while at her home that afternoon. Funeral proceedings were held for Carol yesterday afternoon. If any one has seen Tommy James Oliver please call you local authorities." The announcer spoke as a picture flashed on the screen and Lindsey dropped the remote as when she saw it. He had changed, grown up a lot but his eyes were the same pools of chocolate that had melted her heart so long ago. It was Tommy, her baby, her joy. She covered her mouth and started to cry hard as she realized he was missing some psycho had taken her baby. She turned off the television and started sobbing as she sent out a prayer for anyone to save her baby, her life, and her love.

Tommy was abruptly taken out of his slumber when he felt a sting go to his right cheek. His eyes flew open to see Josh looking at him with an evil grin on his face. "Rise and shine Tommy boy."

Tommy jerked at the chains in pain as Josh rubbed him between the legs. "Oh does that hurt Tommy boy...I'm sorry. Not! You need to get tough! You are nothing but a wimp and momma's boy!"

Tommy didn't say any thing as he turned his head away from Josh, he didn't feel like fighting with him. He didn't care enough any more to fight with him anymore. "What Tommy boy no smart ass words?" Surprise tinged Josh's cruel taunts as Tommy looked at the wall ignoring Josh as much as he could. "Well I think we are beginning to learn how to respect me again."

Tommy rolled his eyes but said nothing as Josh continued, "Yes I think we are learning how to be a good boy again but you need more lessons to teach you more Tommy boy."

Josh quickly undid the chains that were restraining Tommy and slung him over his shoulder as Tommy began to mumble, "No Josh don't. Stop. No."

Josh ignored Tommy's pleas and carried him out of the hotel room. Tommy winced from the pressure put on his stomach as Josh walked. Josh opened the front seat of his truck and dumped him the seat. Tommy moaned and jerked a little as he landed hard on his back as Josh slammed the door and went around the front of the trust to get in the drivers side. He grabbed some rope out of the back seat and flipped Tommy over on his stomach and tied his hands up tight and then did his legs.

Laughing softly to himself at Tommy's moans of pain Josh started up the car and drove out of the parking lot. Darkness was slowly moving in and Tommy sighed as the last drop of light faded from the sky only leaving darkness in its wake. All the night creatures came out causing all kinds of mischief and terror. Tommy lightly started to struggle against his restraints. "Don't even bother Tommy." Came the icy voice of Josh, which stopped Tommy dead in his movements.

Tommy's heart skipped a beat as the car came to a screeching stop and sitting up a little he meekly looked out the window and saw that they were at Angel Grove Park. Josh got out of the car and went around and dragged him out. He then proceeded to through him over his shoulder again. Tommy wiggled to avoid the pressure on his stomach as Josh smacked his rear and spoke annoyed "Easy there Tommy boy."

Josh entered the Park Forest next to him and went deeper and deeper into it until he came to a dark cave. Once deep inside the cave he unceremoniously tossed Tommy into a pit that he had dug there. He jumped in after him and smirked as Tommy moaned in pain from the fall. Josh cut the ropes that bound Tommy and threw him up against the wall and tied his arms tight there. Tommy let out a painful gasp as Josh pulled the ropes tighter. "This will teach you to respect me Tommy boy!"

Tommy started to shout for someone to help him but Josh beat him to the punch and stuffed a rag in his mouth and taped it shut with the rag inside. Tommy gagged but still had enough air but almost passed out. Josh gave Tommy an evil eye "I might leave you out here where all the wild animals and vultures can get you!" After saying this Josh punched Tommy hard in the stomach which made Tommy grunt in pain but wisely remain silent as Josh smiled and jerked Tommy's head up by the hair to meet his eyes. "Have fun Tommy boy and don't forget about all the things that can happen at night." Josh spoke evilly as he slammed Tommy's head back down and clamored out of the pit and walked out of the cave. Tommy shivered as an unhealthy red eye glared out at Tommy from the shadows of the cave.

Billy hummed a tune to himself as he worked with the scanner that was trying to locate Tommy while Trini was reading some of the print outs of the different locations that the scanner had come up with. When Billy's gaze fell on Trini his mind went foggy and his hands pushed buttons that he didn't even see as Trini met his gaze and smiled as she asked "Find any thing yet?"

Billy blushed at her warm smile and turned his head back to the scanners as he answered her "Umm no the umm scanner shows no body waves to match those of Tommy's. Since his morpher and communicator were dropped at the crime scene the computer is having a hard time pinpointing where he is. This is probably why the first scanner said that he was no where on earth because to it Tommy was no where on earth."

Trini sighed as she strolled over to Billy and brushed his arm as she tore off another print out to analyze. She turned around to walk back to her perch on the other computer when she tripped over her own feet and a pair of comfortable arms caught her just as she was about to hit the ground. Trini gazed up to meet Billy's eyes and was caught in them as there heads slowly stated to come closer just as there lips where about the crash onto one another and big BOOM knocked the couple to the ground.

Billy quickly got to his feet as another boom came and the sparks flew out of the computer that was scanning for Tommy. "Oh No! Trini help me!" Billy yelled as Trini quickly got to her feet and ran over to the computer where Billy was.

Each tried to push a series of buttons but all there efforts succeeded in doing were triggering more explosions. The pair kept on trying to fix the scanner ignoring there close kiss and focused on fixing the scanner, that had kept them from there hearts desires.

Tommy sat in the dark pit and felt the cold stream through his half naked body. 'This can't be happening again.' He thought as he felt chills run up and down his spine. His sensitive hearing picked up every howl from a distance and every snap of a twig or tree branch.

He struggled weakly at his bonds as he tried to get loose. 'I have to get out of here. Can't let him get to me can't let him get to me.' He thought furiously as he fought harder against his bonds but the day's exertion hurt him so much that he couldn't fight very much. He felt fatigue close over him and the coldness in the air that made him shiver.

Tommy looked up over his head and noticed to his distress there was a shadow cast over his form. 'God...it's his isn't it.' He thought as the shadow came nearer and he saw unclear eyes of red and shiny iris. He felt terror rise in him; it was a wolf that was staring at him with hungry eyes and salvia over his mouth.

The wolf poked its head into the pit growling and snaring at him. Tommy slid more into the wall in terror. 'Is this my end?' He thought in permeated fear.

His face shined as he observed the wolf preparing to jump into the pit. Suddenly he heard the summoning call of howls in the distance and the wolf looked at him and then back over his shoulder with a growl. To his immense relief the wolf vanished from his sight. Fear still streamed through his body in energy as he quickly struggled more in his weaken strength.

Footsteps sounded in the cold park with reverting cracks and snaps of twigs. The smell of alcohol stunk up the area and filled Tommy's nostrils as he began to breath hard. A grumbling and muttering of jabbering words came into the air with foulness. Cuss words and screaming came next. Tommy felt himself shrink from the noise as it got closer and closer to his location.

Josh's yelling voice met his ears and showers of obscene words came into the air " Oh Tommy boy oh how your rear will get it....". Freezing Tommy in place, his mind seemed to stop from the pain and terror in the middle of his chest. Bile was rising from his stomach to his throat and the acidic taste made him want to resurge the food that he had acquired two weeks ago.

Blood trickled down his wrist from where the ropes had cut in but the pain didn't come to him, only fear trailed through him. 'Oh god please no...'He thought in panic when the shadow jumped into the pit and stood in front of him. Josh's clothing where messy with the stench of alcohol on them. Josh's eyes glimmered in the moonlight with evil intent. There blood shot ness put chills up and down Tommy's body. 'Oh god...please oh please...' His mind seemed to shout out to him in agony as he cringed away from the man before him. "Hello Tommy boy. Having fun now?" Josh's voice was slurring as he begin to approach closer to the teenager before him. He ripped the gag from Tommy's mouth and quickly grabbed Tommy's face," LOOK AT ME WHEN I AM TALKING TO YOU BOY!!!" He screamed at Tommy air of foul ale assaulted Tommy's senses making nauseated feelings wave over him.

Josh smirked as he backhanded Tommy and blood began to stream down from a cut on Tommy's bruised lips. Josh clucked his tongue as he spoke," You've been a bad boy Tommy yes...very bad..." Josh muttered as he brought out needle and stabbed Tommy in the arm. The pit began to waver in Tommy's sigh and the last thing Tommy felt was himself being heaved into strong arms. Josh slurred in his speech as he climbed up a ladder carrying the bruised withered ranger over his shoulder. "We are going to have some fun Tommy boy...yes sirreee just like old times." Josh slurred as he flung Tommy into the passenger's side of his truck and drove away.

Gee streams in Josh's blood, the effectors of the alcohol, made him giddier and gibberish as she swerved into a parking zone. He quickly rubbed his hands together. 'Oh the fun...I will have just like old times.' Josh thought as he felt his blood stir at the sight of the battered shivering ranger in the seat next to him. Not to mention the fun he could feel in his creaking bones. He slowly dragged the boy out of the car and through a thicket and further into a dark dingy forest. Where a wooden old battered shack lay at in a hidden tree area totally secluded from everything.

He slowly opened the old creaky door and walked inside and laid the limp Tommy onto a pallet of old blankets that had moth eaten holes in them. A few wickers candles were there and an old broken table and a sturdy chair. An old mattress was located in the corner of the room with an old wooden headboard. Taking out chains from below the pallet of blankets he clamped them over Tommy's hands and feet. The sight of the boy chained to the floor stirred his blood even more and sent timers down his spine.

Josh smiled evilly as he straddled the shivering with fear Tommy's stomach. "Hey there Tommy boy...ready to have some fun?" Josh spoke as Tommy looked up weakly and started to struggle but was stopped when Josh leaned over to his ear and whispered psychotically " Don't Tommy you are not going to fight me, understand? If you do then I will only cause you more pain. You know what we are going to do Tommy. Think about it real hard."

Tommy's mind rushed back through old memories stored deep with in the darkest reaches of his mind until it stopped suddenly. (Flash)

Tommy saw himself as a little boy no older then four playing video games. He smiled as he won yet another game. "TOMMY ERICKSON!!!"

Tommy dropped his remote fearfully when he heard his stepfather yell his name. He hated that his mom had to work on a Saturday and that she left him with him. Tommy debated on wither you answer Josh or hide, in the end he slowly got to his feet and walked into the kitchen.

The foul stench of alcohol felled the air and assaulted his senses as he entered the kitchen. Tommy saw his stepfather leaning against the counter a spilled beer can next to him and he felt as though Josh was looking right through him instead of at him. When he spoke Tommy felt chills go up and down his spine. "Tommy come over here, right now."

When Tommy didn't do as he was told his stepfather commanded loudly "Now!"

Tommy jumped and meekly walked over to him. When he was almost touching him he stopped and looked up. Josh smirked at the small boy and bent down to Tommy's level and picked him up around the waist and cleared all the empty beer cans from the counter and laid Tommy down on it on his back. "Stay still and do not fight me! This will only be more pain for you if you fight. If you open that big mouth of yours once then I will kill you. So help me god Thomas if you even think of screaming I will kill you with my bear hands." He commanded she shivering Tommy.

Fear struck Tommy's soul at the words that had just been thrown at him and he watched as Josh tore his shirt from his body and climbed on top of him on the specious counter. Tommy started to scream out as Josh brought his jeans down but Josh's hand covered his mouth before he could get any sound out and he slurred "Shut up you little brat! Remember what I said!"

Josh's hand slowly came off Tommy's mouth and Tommy stiffened as Josh chuckled. Tears of shame started falling down his young cheeks as his stepfather used him mercilessly. (Flash)

"NO!!!" Tommy screamed out at the memory as Josh smiled evilly.

Tommy tried to struggle wildly at his bonds but the drugs and chains were keeping him from doing much. "Stop it Tommy! Fighting me will get you nowhere! Remember it will only cause you more pain!" Josh yelled as Tommy started to sob, "No please Josh....no. Don't...any thing but this...please."

Josh pretended not to hear Tommy's pleas and undid Tommy's belt and pulled his holey battered jeans down to his ankles. Tommy began to squirm wildly as Josh resaddled him. Josh smirked at Tommy's efforts and backhanded him hard in the cheek making his face fly to the opposite side as he growled "Do not fight me you little slut!"

Tommy let out a mangled sob and jerked at the chains as Josh once again used him for his own pleasure. 'NOOOOOOO...SOMEBODY.... HELP ME!!!' Were the cries in his mind as he submitted to the wills of the older man.

Zach sat down on a cold park bench in Angel Grove Park; they were calling for record high temperatures that afternoon. 'Gee Tommy would love this weather he would probably sat up an afternoon at the lake. He always said how much he loved the hot summers in Arizona.' Zach bowed his head as he thought of his friend that had been missing for three weeks. Tommy's dad was taking it the hardest and everyone knew why. He had just buried his wife not three days ago and now he was faced with the realization that he might have to burry his only son too. Poor Kim was trying to keep the group together and in high spirits. But even she was losing hope that Tommy would ever come back alive or unharmed. Jason was going crazy with guilt he was blaming himself for everything that happened. He blamed himself for not locking the door when he left Tommy's house and letting the killer get in and beat Carol and take Tommy. Zach buried his head in his hands and sighed.

Billy and Trini were taking it the best of all of them. Billy was staying as level headed as possible with the given situation and was putting all of his spear time in to finding Tommy. Trini was always with Billy trying to find Tommy with him. She always had a smile on her face and an encouraging word to say to any one who got down about Tommy missing. She was always saying that Tommy was going to come back to them in one peace and to just have faith. But faith was running out the police had no leads or clues. They simply had no idea who would want to take Tommy Oliver and kill Carol Oliver, they were stumped as to where to began.

As for himself he wasn't doing so good. Tommy and him had always been close. Well not as close as Tommy and Jason had been but they were still close. Zach had always felt as though he could tell Tommy any thing and he would always understand and have some sound advice for him. He was the reason that Angela and him had finally started dating. Zach smiled as he remembered the advice Tommy had given him. 'Zach it's not enough to just like a girl. You have to show her you like her and that you are going to be there for a long time. Quit trying to impress her and be yourself. Hey it worked for me!'

Zach smiled it had worked for him to Angela had asked him out two weeks after that conversation with Tommy. Zach unburied his face from his hands and looked down at the grass as he silently prayed for his friend. 'Tommy wherever you are please come back to us alive and safe. You don't know how much you mean to us. You are the glue that holds us all together, with out you we are all going to fall a part. Please Tommy come back to us.'

With that thought in mind, Zach got up off the cold bench and started to walk away as the harsh sun beat down on his slumped back.

Lindsay glanced at the missing poster of her grown up baby boy in the seta next to her and sighed. Panic and fear skirted up her chest as she looked shakily at the address on the poster. 'Get a hang on yourself Lindsay...don't worry you'll find him...you'll find him.' Her rampaging thoughts were running around in hysterics as her battered up old white ford pick up backfired exhaust as it crankily droved down a busy highway. She reached a street on Angel Grove Main and the old pick up died. Sighing in despair she cursed her old battered car, "Damn it George your not suppose to stall now...I need to get there..."

Grumbling she got out of her car and slammed the door with furry as she pushed up the white purse strap of her bag. She kicked the pick up tire with her sandal and yelped out in pain, "GOD DAMN IT!!" She yelled as she began hopping around in a ludicrous situation that any on passing motorist would have laughed at.

John Oliver was driving his gray Mazda van home from the grocery store when he noticed a haggard looking woman hopping around like a bunny on the side of the street. 'How odd...perhaps she needs help...Carol would have liked to help...'He tried not to burst in tears at the thought of his wife as he pulled the car off to the side near the battered white pick up. He got out of his car and walked to the still hopping in pain woman. He bit back his laughter at the sight of her holding onto her foot in a ridicules flowered pattern shirt and shorts. 'Where did she find these types of clothes?' He thought in wonderment as he cleared his throat to inform her of his presence. He saw her jerk up and look at him in wilderment. The eyes took him off guard they were so like his son's eyes that it sent chills up and down his spine.

Lindsay looked up in surprise at the stranger before her, "Um...hi..." She said awkwardly pain still coursing up her little toes and felt as though her pick up George was trying to get back at her for not checking the oil. 'God why can't this day end?' She thought tiredly as she looked over the man before her. Her eyebrow furred when she noticed dark circles around his eyes and an old dullness of grief. 'I wonder what happened to this man...' She thought as her heart went out to him and his pain. In a way it reminded her of the pain she felt when she lost Tommy, thanks to Josh's abusiveness.

"Hello I see you have a problem with your car...may I be of any assistance?" The man said politely a glint of humor was in his eyes.

She blushed red from the heat and muttered," George is giving me hell again. It seems he doesn't want to start...I was trying to get to this location and well ...he just poof." The brown eyes of the man looked baffled as he spoke "Um... George?" The tone of confusion made him look more comical then serious. Of course she wasn't a good one to judge and everything seemed to be funny do to lack of oxygen from all the cursing she had done.

Lindsay braced herself for more embarrassment, "George is my truck..." She saw him bite his lip in laughter.

"George? Why did you name your truck...um...that Ms...Ms...?" His inquiring tone nudged her into explanation.

"I named him after one of my ex boyfriends in high school. Just one of the many losers I dated in my lifetime. You should hear what his middle name is...oh...sorry my name is Lindsay." She smiled as she offered her hand.

John smiled as he took her hand," My name is John Oliver and middle name?" Shaking his head in disbelief that people call their cars George or any ex's names. 'How Carol would laugh at this...' He thought soberly.

Lindsay answered with out thought to Johns question, "Yeah his name is...DEBA... as in don't even bother asking...wait your John Oliver?" She looked at him in disbelief 'Could my luck be changing after all?' She questioned herself as John looked at her in puzzlement, "Yes..." His suspicions rose more as the woman's face lit up.

"I am Lindsay Erickson...Tommy's mother...well biological mother." She blurted out, her eyes widened as she saw him grab his chest and stumble a little backward from her.

"OH GOD!" John felt like he was going to have a heart attack at that moment. 'She is Tommy's mother.... Tommy's mother...'The thought reverted through his mind and he felt confusion rush through him along with many other things.

Lindsay backed away from the man she sought slowly her eyes were wide with shock. As her foot stepped backwards an unnoticed pothole caught her and she stumbled back wards and fell with a resounding smack on the pavement. "OUCH!" She exclaimed as the jolt she received from the fall got her out of her shock and dazzled state and she got up slowly.

John was so gone in his mind that he didn't notice the flower covered pattern lady fall. He was jerked out of his stunned state when he felt a hand on his arm. He felt his heart pace upward as his eyes slowly looked at her with uncertainty, "Why are you here?" His voice was smart but to Lindsay the words were like an unwelcome sign flying into her face.

Her sandals slide against the pavement as she cleared her voice and looked down," I wanted...to...see...my son." Her voice was shaking and her shoulder trembled. "I...I...wanted him...to know me...I wanted him to forgive...me..." She felt panic and pain rush through her for all the suffering her child had endured from the hands of her misguided heart. For her stupidity to think that a man like Josh could really love her or her precious bundle of joy.

John looked at the woman before him warily," I know..." The words were toned with cruelty and viciousness as Lindsay turned to him her eyes full of shame. She saw the look in the mans eyes who took her child in, the look of knowledge. The next words that came brought her even more grief and shamefulness for not doing her duty to protect her young at any cost," Who...struck my Tommy?" A possessive tone was placed on the boy he considered his life from the moment he had arrived at his house in Arizona. He watched her tremble as she looked at him for understanding. One word, one name, was all he wanted, he wanted answers and she couldn't deny him what he sought for.

She took one breath and breathed out the name that had cost her son, her love, her life, and her body," Josh...."

Rage of furry flew through his blood tainting it with blood vengeance for his beloved child's pain. He lips tightened and the image of him sent chills down her spine and a great acknowledgement of the anger she felt when her son was hurt. He turned away from her and stared at the golden filled sun. A answering call to his blood thirst was great yet he felt himself grow deadly calm," Josh...." He murmured the name that had pained his son into screams in the night to nightmares and pleas. Josh the name that caused him to go to severally great pains to bring out the joy in his child's chocolate brown eyes. For the understanding that purified his child's soul and for goodness that could never be tainted again, Josh the very devil's name. The heartache that gave him chills and nightmares as Tommy sobbed in his arms night after endless night, he would make sure that bastard paid for all the grief he put an innocent child, a bright child, his child through. Every tear he kissed off his child's face, every doubt his child had or would have, would be extracted painstakingly. He would make the bastard scream; he would make sure that he would never hurt his beloved child again. The call of the wildness and his Native American blood demanded vengeance against a snake of all snakes and he, John Oliver, would make sure that call was answered.

Lindsay looked at the man before her, his calm stealthiest belied about his ancestor age of Native American. In a way it reminded her of Whitewater, the only decent man she had ever loved. Oh how her heart ached for him. The only man who made her heart beat as fast as a drum and brought joy into her life. That joy was her son Tommy. She missed him so and often wondered why he had disappeared from her life so suddenly one day. Her parents had not liked Luke from the start, he was dirt poor and a street rat as they had called him, but still she had gone behind their backs to be with him. When she became pregnant, her family had disowned her, and kicked her out of the family in disgrace, cutting her off from the wealth and the money. She had not cared however, she was young and in love. She had went to live with Luke in his little one bedroom apartment on the ruff side of LA and they had planned to marry before Tommy was born as soon as Luke saved up enough money. Just two days before the wedding and six months into the pregnancy, Luke had disappeared with out a trace, and had taken the money with him leaving her to find for herself and her son in a harsh cold world.

Having to much pride to run back to her family she worked her way up out of the slumps and moved with her one year old son to Angel Grove where she bought a house and started work at a good paying job. She sometimes thought that maybe Luke wasn't the man she had thought him to be, just like all the others, but all she would have to do was look into Tommy's eyes and she would quickly out those thoughts to rest. In a way John Oliver gave her a thought to Luke.

She shook her head to clear it and couldn't take the silence anymore as she spoke sternly," John...do you know where my son was taken and why?" She watched his lips thin even more," In a way.... the police are baffled but I am guessing it is someone who knew him. It had to be or Tommy would have killed them."

Lindsay gasped in fear, "Oh...no...but why would they want to take my precious baby? He didn't do anything wrong....did?" Her voice shook as she tried to find answers from the man before her. After all he knew what was going on or what was happening more then she did.

John looked at her with narrow eyes, "I am not sure...who could have taken him but I am sure that he did nothing to provoke it. He was...is...a smart young man and knows the difference between right and wrong." He spoke as he noticed Lindsay sway a little from the heat and raised his eyebrow," Come on you need a drink. The closest and best place for a drink and an escape from this heat is at the Youth Center." His mouth twitched at the thought of Ernie the little pudgy man made him smile. He was a trust worthy man and he looked after his son so much. In a way he was one of the family, his thoughts then sobered as he said," Tommy loved that place...so did his friends."

Lindsay looked at him in concern as she stuttered," Alright lets...go." She couldn't deny that she wanted to see how her son lived and what he did with his time. She wanted to know everything and anything for right now her heart was breaking in terror for the fear or safety for her child.

John walked stiffly to his car and opened the door for her. She looked warily at him but got in the car and shut the door and fastened her seat belt as John rounded the front of the car, got in, fastened his seat belt and started the car.

Josh felt restless and his mind was vexed with different thoughts, he had left Tommy in pain withering and pleading. God that turned him on far more then usual, he wanted that boy to learn who was master and one way or the other he would learn it.

Josh got into the truck, raved it to life, and headed to the Youth Center. 'Lets see how everyone is dealing with the disappearance of Tommy boy shall we.' He thought as he snickered with conviction as he drove to the destination to have a little fun. As he parked in the parking lot he noticed a gray Mazda van that he seen before. After all he had been lurking near the owner of the car's home for quiet a while. 'Well well if it ain't the man who took away my...little whore.' He thought as his eyes widened with surprise and anger when he noticed a slim lady with dark brown hair flowing past her shoulders and flower patterned clothing get out of the car with the help of John. "Lindsay." He said in disbelief as he felt his blood run cold. "Oh...that little bitch is going to get something coming at her." He growled as he gripped the steering wheel harder.

Lindsay shivered as a cold feeling run up and down her back. She felt that someone was watching her and that brought more fright to her as she leaned closer to John for protection and they both headed inside the Youth Center. Reaching the main part of the youth center a little pudgy man with a Hawaiian shirt came out with a platter of drinks when he saw them he smiled a friendly smile with concern, "Hi John."

John looked at him his eyes were still gloomy by what Ernie could see but he also noted that his female friend was to think for his own comfort. He quickly pulled two chairs out as he looked at the companion John had next to him. Ernie felt his eyes budge out. The face of the woman before him was so close to Tommy's features and those chocolate eyes could never have been mistaken. It was almost like a mirror image of Tommy in woman form and older.

John noticed his friend gawking," Ernie this is Lindsay," He paused to phrase the words on his tongue to soften the blow for his old friend," Tommy's biological mother...."

Ernie stared at him, "Tommy's biological mother." He stuttered out and his face turned red, "You and her were um...um..." Ernie felt a much deeper red come over him when he saw them both glare at him.

Lindsay shook her head," No....I was never with Mr. Oliver." John noted that she used his last name instead of his first and that unsettled him for some strange reason.

He nodded his head in agreement," Tommy was adopted by me and Carol when he was nine." He added after Lindsay.

Clarity entered Ernie's mind and he nodded his head, "Okay...I see sorry it was just a mistake." He couldn't believe he made a mistake he swore he could see a deep connection between the two. 'Oh well there's a first time for everything.' He thought as he brought a pad out from his black pants, "What do you want to order?" He spoke as he grinned evilly at them both.

The grin was so comical to them that they both laughed unknown that there was a man coming up behind them. "Any word on Tommy?" They both jumped startled by the voice that entered into their mirth. The three looked up to see a blue eyed blonde haired handsome man standing their concern shining in his eyes. Lindsay's face palled as she saw him," Josh?" She squeaked out in disbelief.

Rage entered John's mind as he looked coldly at the man before him. John felt his native blood boil at the sight of the man. 'This pipsqueak did all the crap and shit to my son.' He thought as Ernie grabbed the table from the look of the man before them.

Confusion was in Ernie's brow as he glanced to John, to Lindsay, to the man before him. His eyes were wide and he felt a chilling feeling coming from those blue orbs of the man named Josh. Before Ernie could say hi, John moved as fast as lightning and grabbed the front of Josh's shirt and said in a deadly tone, "Where is my son?"

Lindsay balled up her hands at her side," Why are you here Josh?" Her voice was quite and she trembled with fear and anxiety as Josh pretended to look hurt, "He was my son to Lindsay and I loved him..." He spoke his voices was syrupy like a serpent beckoning with charm and deadly intent.

Ernie cleared his throat and his hands managed to yank John's hand away with surprising strength as Lindsay choked out, "You bastard you took my son away from me!" John felt a pulsing at his temple the roar of revenge and scent of evil was right in front of him. He knew some how this evil being was responsible for taking away his Tommy. An uncanny sixth sense gave him the signs and the eyes of the man chilled him to the bone as he looked into them. The eyes of a blue-eyed cobra ready to strike with out a moments notice. He backed away from him for the benefit of his friends and the waiting began.

Ernie looked at the trio, "Come on lets get some drinks and talk this whole thing out." He spoke calmly as he tried to mediate between them all. His face was a little red from the exertion of angry and fear. He didn't John getting into trouble, not when John was in this frame of mind. Lindsay collapsed soundly into her chair with a tired sigh, her eyes still staring at the man who ruined her life. John sat down next to her slowly and held her clenched hand in his in order to lend her strength. Josh's eyes lit up with humor as he plopped down in his chair with the ease of a cat that just ate the canary.

Smiling inside he looked at his ex-wife," You look well Lindsay." He spoke as his eyes seductively trailed up and down her sleek figure with diminishment. John felt anger rise in his chest and an unknowing urge to pound into Josh's face.

Lindsay gulped in a breath as she spoke through clenched teeth," I repeat again Josh...Why are you here?" Every time she closed her eyes she saw her child in the hospital hurt, bruised, battered, and near death; the sound of Josh's voice trying to reassure her everything would be alright and the anger she felt to the point where she could have slaughtered him with out a second thought.

Josh smiled at John as he ignored Lindsey," I use to have so much fun with Tommy. He was such a good boy and he has such a talented mouth..." He baited John with a knowing sleek glance. Lindsay froze and her lips curled with anger as she finally blew, "YOU FREAK!!! YOU MONSTER!!!" Everyone in the youth center froze at the exclamation and turned around to see what the commotion was about. To their surprise there was a crash of a table and glasses shattered on the floor. An enraged woman in a flowery dress pushed a blonde hair man, who had jumped up from his chair when the table had hit the floor, backwards hard.

Josh looked up surprised, as he was able to regain his balance before he fell. Anger grew in his eyes as he looked at the bitch of his life," Lindsay what are you doing?" He said in a pretend confusion, which enraged her more. She picked up a glass goblet of the bar and threw it at him. Josh ducked the goblet with ease as John looked at both of them surprised that Lindsay could act this way. Lindsey growled and through another goblet at Josh as Josh ducked again he grabbed Lindsay's arm yanking her to him. He whispered quietly into her ear so that no one could here him. "You...just wait bitch remember you were my whore...so was your son...I will have you both one way or another...and I am going to make sure...you both will scream out as I extract my vengeance for you ever leaving me." He smiled evilly as Lindsey shivered in his grip but was caught off guard when a fist connected solidly to his jaw with a CRACK!! He groaned in pain from the floor and glared up to see John holding his ex in his arms. John glared at the man on the floor his eyes told Josh that he heard every single word he had imparted to his ex-wife.

His blue orbs grew frostier and a silent challenge was issued between the two of them. Lindsay leaned heavily against John; exhausted from the day's events.. John looked at Josh with deadly intent," Watch where you are driving..." The words were spoken with enough conviction to throw Josh off. Josh got off the floor quickly and stumbled out of the door keeping his hand to his mouth where his jaw was cracked. In his mind he was fuming with angered thought. ' With every pain you give me John Oliver. I punish the whore Tommy boy ten fold.' He insanely chuckled through his pain as he drove on.

~*~*~*~

Tommy lay on the floor withering in pain and trying to keep the choking sobs back. In his mind he was reliving every moment of his torture and kept seeing Josh on top of him every time he closed his eyes. He was his little whore, his slut, and no matter what he did he would never be anything else. Josh would always find him and make him pay. Tommy was so wrapped up in his own pain and suffering that he did not hear the blue ford truck pull up and an enraged Josh get out. Nor did he hear the old rusty wooden door open; he didn't see an angered Josh storm over to where he was still chained to the floor. He didn't notice him until he was jerked off the floor unchained and thrown against the hard wooden wall of the cabin.

"You little shit!!" Josh screamed as Tommy hit the wall. Tommy was about to slump to the floor but Josh was on him in a instant holding him to the wall.

"You little slut! Your mother was almost as good as you!" Josh spat as Tommy's eyes lit up at the mention of Carol. "What did you do to her?!" Tommy screamed.

Josh's eyes became more enraged at Tommy's scream and smacked Tommy hard making his head fly to the other side as he commanded "DO NOT RAISE YOUR VOICE TO ME WHORE!!"

Tommy shut his eyes at the harsh words as Josh grinned evilly and spoke huskily "Look at me Tommy."

Tommy shuddered as he met the snake eyes of Josh and Josh smirked as he spoke "I killed your mother."

"You liar!" Tommy spat in disbelief; He refused to believe that his mother was dead and that a thing like Josh had killed her.

Josh chuckled "Oh really? Where was she when you got home that day?! I tell you where she was in a closet beaten and broken!"

Tommy looked down as tears began to shine in his eyes as Josh continued, "She was a good fun but not as good as you and she doesn't have that incredible mouth that you have. You are even better then Lindsey."

Josh chuckled as he ran a hand through Tommy's long locks "You were always the best."

Tommy jerked his head away quickly so that Josh's hand fell out of his hair. Josh scowled angrily at Tommy and growled "You ungrateful slut! You are just like your whore mother screaming out for more!"

Josh violently threw Tommy across the room with a growl and Tommy landed on the other wall with a THUD and slumped to the floor moaning in pain. Josh advanced on him and started kicking him with furry. "You good for nothing whore! That's all your good for is being a slut!" He yelled as Tommy cried beneath him and took kick after kick.

Josh suddenly quit kicking Tommy and his eyes lit up as an evil plan came to him. Putting it into action he quickly grabbed some rope from the table and tied Tommy's hands and feet up and threw him on the old mattress. He went over to the old table once more and picked up a very sharp kitchen knife that was lying on it. Smiling psychotically he walked slowly over to Tommy and rolled Tommy on his stomach "You brought this on yourself slut." He whispered then proceeded to slash Tommy on his face, arms, legs, chest, and stomach several times as Tommy screamed out in agony at each slash of the knife and Josh smiled in delight at each scream.

Afterwards Tommy was jerking and moaning in great amounts of pain as Josh put the bloody knife back on the table. "You aren't so cute now are you Tommy boy. Who will want a ugly scared person like you now?" Josh taunted as he turned to fire places and picked up a poker beside it and dipped it into the hot flames of the burning fire and smiling waltzed back to Tommy. "You are never going to leave me again Tommy. I am going to make sure of that you little shit!" He yelled in Tommy's face and began to beat him with the hot poker mercilessly. Tommy screamed out in agony as the poker burned and bruised his skin and his attacker shook in psychotic laughter.
